There it is!
Truth is, castles are a dime a dozen in the Rhine River region,
of which the Mosel River is a tributary. Big rivers = trade, and
trade = tolls,
if you
have the goods and the gumption to build a castle along a big river and charge a toll
to all passersby on pain of death.
Apparently a lot of dukes and such had such goods and gumption;
by the time we got to this one, we had passed some 10 or so of the buggers. For all of which,
according to the rules, I was obliged to take a drink. Hey, I didn't make the rules.
But most of them weren't as storybook as this bugger. Dig that mural.
