Animal rights hippies were staging some kind of protest in front of the Glockenspiel. Their shrill, Germanic P.A. squawks hammered home to me the fact that hippies are annoying the world over.

As for the Glockenspiel, all those little figures in there perform a bunch of animatronic Bavarian mumbojumbo every day at 11AM and noon. Woulda viddied it, but there were other things to attend to at the Marienplatz. (Check out the Glockenspiel.)
