Living on a flood plain totally rocks.

This has happened a little bit every time it rained this fall.

But December 13 was special. We got at least two inches of constant rain.

There are two large ponds in the back yard, each 6-8 inches deep.

(NOTE: Depth determined by throwing stick in middle of pond and observing dog.)

But in truth there is standing water everywhere. It totally rocks.

I knew I should have planted rice.
